Aside from blogging, I write poetry and short stories as well. You might see quite a few poems I have written on a whim and/or something I have worked on for a long time now. Most of my works are inspired by something that moves me - random stuff I guess.
THE POET
Poetry is my favorite literary form. I have started writing them since my best friend died in highschool and I have been doing it ever since. It is a great way of sublimation of one's feelings and throughout the years, I have truly enjoyed painting other's minds with the wordplay that I do. I write in freestyle form; hence, no particular rhymes or number of syllables counted to make my poems. Although, I am particularly fond of haiku and have actually tried to write a poem in a highly organized way. It took me hundreds of re-write and weeks of rest to be satisfied with the actual poem. Never did it again though.
THE STORY WRITER
Short stories has always been near my heart. They are like sweet "merienda" you get in the afternoons. Compressed to alleviate boredom yet long enough to keep you hooked. I have quite a lot of ideas I want to write and hopefully finish. I don't plan to share them soon but if I do, please do enjoy reading them.
